This ancient art developed at a small village in south of Egypt called HEGAZA a long time ago. People of this village live on the sales of the wood products they make for the Egyptian market and the touristic market. This type of wood is very hard and it comes from a tree called DALBERGIA Sisso ( Indian Rosewood). The origins of this tree are found in India and Pakistan. The color of the wood is natural and no colors are added.
